Tear strength in warp and in weft direction: 

  • ≥1500 N/mm for the sample stored in laboratory conditions
  • ≥800 N/mm for the sample stored 28 days in 5% NaOH

Approx. 1.1 m2 for each 1m2 of the insulated wall.

The product can be described as alkali resistant, durable, flexible and rigid weave. It is also very light – it weights only 158g/m2. When it comes to technical data, the mesh opening size is 3,9 x 4,0 mm and the mass per unit area is 158 ±8 g/m2. The type of weaving is raschel. The fibreglass mesh is sold in orange rolls with BOLIX logo of total length of 50 metres and width 1,10 metre. The fibreglass mesh was also tested in laboratory for tear strength in warp and in weft direction and the results are ≥1500 N/mm for the sample stored in laboratory conditions and ≥800 N/mm for the sample stored 28 days in 5% NaOH. The product was designed to cover approximately 1.1 m2 for each 1m2 of the insulated wall.

The main features of the fibreglass mesh are: impact resistance (it is very difficult to damage), low water absorption (the water is not accumulated inside the wall), easy to maintain (it is washable), anti-fungal protection (it protects the wall against algal and fungal) and wind resistance (even strong winds cannot demolish the wall).
